Bacon Day in Newcastle

I'm bringing bacon and eggs in a muffin tin (I need a better name) for breakfast
BLT's for lunch (yes I can't think of anything better then that)
Bacon peppers for appetizers/snacks.
Bacon wrapped something for dinner ( I haven't decided yet what will be wrapped in bacon)
and Bacon wrapped apples with a brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and other spices rub.

If you don't have any ideas, baconshow.blogspot.com has a bacon recipe a day, we have a bacon recipe blog as well, but it isn't updated as frequently as it should be, and just google - ing bacon recipes comes up with many sugestions. Just remember that the dish needs to highlight bacon, and don't be afraid to experiment. We have had some tarific failures in the past, but that is all part of the fun of Bacon Day.

Bacon Day In Oz

There are now plans for Bacon Day in Newcastle. It's a different type of bacon then what I'm use to so I'm depending on the locals to know and share the best ways to prepare this bacon.  Any ideas please share them with us.

Moving Down Under

So I finally bought my ticket to Australia, but I still don't have a place to live, so a Bacon Day party is going to occur, but the location is uncertain. 

I hope more parties will be planed. It's a wonderful day.
